David Wood to Present at MIT’s Linked Data Ventures
David Wood has been invited to present at this year’s MIT Linked Data Ventures class on 17 November 2011 from 4:00-5:30 PM in the Stata center.
The Linked Data Ventures class is in its second year, and is being taught by a team of instructors: Tim Berners-Lee, Lalana Kagal, and K Krasnow Waterman from MIT CSAIL and Reed Sturtevant and Katie Rae from the MIT Entrepreneurship Center. The idea is to teach students what they need to know to imagine a Linked Data venture and build a working prototype and pitch by the end of the semester. Past guest speakers have included well known academics and entrepreneurs such as Nova Spivak, Jim Hendler, Mark Greaves, and Jonathan Zittrain.
